Finishing Touches of The Harvest Line

This is my cozy cuff. I found some really amazing fall inspired corduroy, that I thought tied the whole line together, and sewed it on the backside of my leather cuff. This makes this cuff extremely comfortable and perfect to keep the chilly air off of your wrist! I also found some great thread that I used as an accent, as well as Merlot colored pearls. This was a labor of love: lots of sewing, and punching holes in the leather. But it was all worth it, this cuff screams HARVEST!
This is a detail shot of the tie back and the beautiful corduroy fabric.

This is another detail shot of the back, to show how it is properly tied. It also shows you more of the stitching detail.

This is a great pair of earrings which incorporates all of the different chains used in the Harvest Line. Here dangling off of the handmade ear wire is a lovely, large chunk of amethyst with a smaller lighter amethyst bead, as well as a carnelian drop dangling below. With all of the chains attached at various sites, this earring has lots and lots of motion. I actually was having a hard time photographing them on me because they wouldn't stop dancing!

This is a bracelet that I made to pair with the bling necklace (posted in a previous blog). It uses the same two gold chains, clustering of large amethyst beads, as well as the round carnelian bead with matching drop.

This is a detail of the beautiful sterling silver piece from below!

I am really glad that I decided to make an all silver necklace for this line. As much as I thought that silver did not have a warm, fuzzy feeling, this one changed that idea in my mind instantly. I made the front clasp out of sterling silver wire, added a lovely thin sterling chain, and then accented the necklace with the signature orange and purple from the line. OOOH I LOVE IT!

These are my last few additions to The Harvest Line. They may be last, but they actually turned out to be some of my favorites. I added a few new elements to these pieces: more silver, different fabric, and pearls. This has been a really fun line to create, and I am really proud that all of my drawings of ideas have come to life! Come check out my line, as well as the lines of all of the other wonderfully talented interns, at the grand opening party for North Star on Friday, November 7th!!
